My gosh, I can't figure you out??

You're now asking about if these people are any good:

Also has anyone heard of the quality of work by these individuals who i found searching this forum: LRD , 5StarDetailing in Weston, Shawn Sullivan?

After you've already gone out of your way to recommend them here prior (and also used his services too I believe?):

Try Avi at Luxury Royal Detailing. He does excellent work in Miami-Dade.

Feel free to tell me otherwise; but it seems like you make it a habit to 2nd guess yourself?

You also started a thread on another forum questioning yet another detailer's prices that I guess you now aren't doing business with it appears:

Estimate to polish and cquartz - Bimmerfest - BMW Forums

You're either a tire kicker or have split personalities. Which is it?

I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want to do work for you after all these shenanigans. I know I wouldn't. Especially after this thread here: http://www.autopia.org/forum/southe...list-clear-bra-miami-atlanta.html#post1469431

Dude,

Just follow the rainbow to the pot of gold and pony up to get this detail done. You should quit wasting peoples time. Pathetic.

Batman75, I would have loved to help you, had you not been trying to negotiate me down so much on the best price you got out of all 3 of us. Its going to be very hard to find quality work for as cheap as your wanting. Plus, the last we talked you said your detailer was or could do the 2 layers of CQuartz(their personal supply) and a 2-Step Paint Correction for $600? Did that fall through on you?

You know it isn't always "the other person" - sometimes it is you who is at fault.

You seem very cheap - now go and do what ever you do for a living and take only 1/3 of your normal fee. See how vicious you get. :wall

Actually it happens to me a lot. It's the way things are these days. It doesn't bother me. You win some and lose some. Unless you operate in a non competitive industry, that is life.

Well, I don't know what YOU do for a living, but correcting paint at $15 an hour is not something the best would or should do. I guess around Autopia, top dogs "loose" by simply not taking the job. That should make sense to you by now as you seem to be hitting brick walls with your ideas about what the job should cost with you car.

In any case, good luck with the hack, I mean the detailer that is going to do the job for you. :D

Wow you're a very emotional lot. Isn't life too short to get upset over a transaction that didn't happen.

Contacting other detailers for better pricing when you are "booked" with one detailer, could be the reason why that detailer terminated the transaction.

Just remember who you've been talking to, here. These guys are literally some of the best paint correction specialists in the country, if not the world, and for them this IS a non-competitive industry since not many can replicate their skills. If you want the level of work they can give you, then you go to them and you pay their prices. If you don't mind work that may not be quite up to their standard, look elsewhere and you will pay less.

You can't buy a Brooks Brothers suit for $99 at Sears.
