So today on a break from studynig i went and washed/waxed my car. I notmaly use nattys but recenlty ihave heard good thins about megs gold class products so i though i would give it a shot. So i wash my car with QEW which i love it works really well. After i got to put a coat of wax on. I have to say i was disapointed by this procut. You can defenity tell its an otc. I didint like the smellm texture or over all quilty of the product. I was not imprssed by the shine (i feel nattys works much better) i would never buy this products again. However i did like the ease of removel, also for an otc its not bad, just not my choice. I would not recomend it to a person who knew anything abut detailing. However i think for the back yard waxer, who waxs once in a blue moon with no prep this is a good product. My almsot full 11oz tin will be sent to my freind (he loves the stuff) and not put back on my shelf
 
i love meguiar's gold class and IMHO its not that great for your "back yard waxer" because it has no cleaning ability where as a wax like NXT has cleaning ability. out of all the meguiars waxes i have tried (colourX, A12 cleaner wax, M06, M20, M26 and NXT. it is my second favorite as it is a polish/wax. also you can send it back to meguiars to get another product as Meguair's has the best customer service in the world

I guees its one of those each to his own. Im used to using nattys and having a few caots on at a time. Maybe is the colour of my car but prefer nattys. Will see in a week as to how the protection is, if its got good prtection then i will be happy Ill keep you guys updated
 
What colour is your car?
and hey it's your car, just do what works for you for me its Meguiar's for you its PB
 
In most cases I think that the paint prep has more to do with how deep the shine is over what kind of wax.

Why not strip off all the wax with a paint cleaner or cleaner polish then do Nattys side by side with Gold Calss?
 
thats what i plan on doing actually but right now i dont have the time with exams. Will see how it comes out in a couple weeks. I agree its all about paint prep but its preped and already has a few coats of nattys so when im done exams ill re-evaluate
 
i will dont worry. but on a side note i know u mentioed somthing about a megs detialign course. o u have the link for that please or w.e some info if posible
