MF pad speed on GG machine

I wonder if those Megs pads would run cooler with that Adams backing plate that has the weight reduction holes cut into the top of it.

I have been doing 4 on GG using the Optimum MF pads with D300/ M101/ M105 and no issues.

I use to KILL pads; foam, MF, whatever until Buff daddy Home got me some the Mirka backing plates. The exact fit work the best for me, which you need to contact Kevin directly for as they have to be custom made. The backing hooks on the mirka are so much more "clingly" too.
