Yet another car from the same family, pretty much brand new Acura, wheels were dirty, along with the paint, needed a spot clay here and there, but other than that, it was pretty easy...Process/products as follows....

Exterior:

-NXT Wash

-Spot Clay (Pinnacle)

-Wheels were cleaned with NXT/APC 10:1

-(wheel wells received just a rinse down with some apc/hosed off (owner lives on a dirt road, did not want/care about dressing the wells)

-Clearkote's Vanilla Moose via PC white lc pad

-Clearkotes Caranuba Moose via PC Black pad

-Tires got AA Gel

-Tips got Mothers

Interior:

-Vacuum

-APC 10:! Wipedown

-Pinnacle's Vinyl/Rubber Protectant

-Pinnacles Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

-APC 4:1 on mats/carpet

-Door Jambs got an ONR Bath (works AWESOME btw)

Starting off with some interior pics, I really liked the TL, my moms RSX is nice, but the TL is a very nice car!!!

I spent quite a while on the wheels, they were filthy, as you can see they turned out nicely!

Looks great!

Got a noob question for you though: after you applied the APC 4:1 on the carpets/mats, did you use a wet vac to remove it afterwards? They just look great and I have yet to figure that part of my detailing routine.

Thanks everyone, and csimian, yes, I take my brush and get out as much water as I can before I wet vac it, then I just leave them in the sun for about an hour, and they are dry/clean as can be:grinno:

Fantastic job all around man!!! But the wheels..How did you managed to get the inside so clean?, they really add up to the final appearance of the whole car..

I use a mixture of NXT/APC and pre soak the insides, I then proceed to use my wheel brush designed to get inside of almost any type of wheel (http://www.autogeek.net/ezdetailbrush.html) and vigorously scrub the insides of the wheel for however long it takes to get clean! I then run my ringer along the insides behind the spokes to complete the job, as the brush has trouble getting to these spots...

very nice! how was it working on the clear of this TL as opposed to the RSX?

The paint seemed fairly similar to the RSX, easy to work with, a little bit of orange peel, and some awesome flake!

great job the paint is perfect gotta love CK deff does its job well

how was the slickness?

The caranuba moose is incredibly slick, I really love the Vanilla Moose/Caranuba Moose wax on darker colors, it also helps bring out the flake which is very nice too!

I have yet to see a TL in that color.

Same here. Paint looks excellent, and NICE work on the wheels! You must have cut a knuckle or two reaching through those spokes.

Hope to see some more Mach pics soon. :D

Incredible work!! You have more then exceeded in making a new car look better then new. The paint is extremely wet and the flake is amazing! The interior is perfect and very well dressed. Dealer preps could learn sooo much from you.

Damn I wish that was my car. Love the TL's
