there are discussions on black, silver and white paints... but what about metallic? :)

i heard zaino is the best for metallic... is carnauba also ok?

thanks!

i know it has clearcoat... what i mean is for the overall look, what type of product will enhance the metallic paint underneath the clearcoat?

it's a matter of opinion ^ on what everyone likes. nxt seems to be a favorable choice for metallics for many on here...

I like the look of sealants. Zaino and Werkstatt are good. A lot of people like the Klasse twins, which I have not tried. I just put Pinnacle Souveran on my Titanium Silver metalic paint, looks smooth as butter, but I think I like the shine of Zaino on the silver a bit better. But the carnuba looks real nice and warm. Like they said its all a matter of opinion.

I would suggest Wolfgang,it doesn't seem to popular nowadays for some reason, but it does work very well on metalic paints, shows the flake very well, while at the same time gives a great carnauba like warm glow.A very underated product IMO.

Tough question to answer, both carnubas and sealants can look good. Here is the same metallic gold vehicle with a glaze-carnuba finish and a sealant finish to compare. Unfortunately the light, angle and camera are different, LOL.

The carnuba is darker and deeper with muted flakes, the Zaino is lighter and pops more.

Typically a carnauba is going to mute the flakes and sealant is going to give it some pop, although with natty's blue it really made the metalic pop on my friends black w/blue metalic integra, more than UPP.
