Super job! I just switched rides but my last one (MB GL450) had a wheel damaged by a tire installer when installing new tires. The tire place paid for the repair and the guy came over to my house and did the repair there. It was really interesting to watch how he did it. He did not do the whole wheel, just the damaged area and about 20% of the wheel was clear feathered.
The problem I found was that at first the repaired wheel absorbed brake dust and held on to it - regular washing or wheel cleaner would not remove it - plus it started turning brown, probably from the brake dust starting to rust. I had to use a compound on the wheel to get the dust off. Once the wheel was compounded I put a sealant on it and then all was well from there on. I don't know if you compounded, polished and sealed the repairs but from my experience this has to be done somewhere down the line....
