This lady bought this car as a CPO, certified pre-owned...and you could tell it had a "rip through it" type of detail done prior to the sale! Also, the front fender was obviously repainted and repaired, the filler was cracking and forced the paint to crack as well. Nothing I could do about that!
Anyway, I ended up with about 11 hours on this car from start to finish, and like most of my longer details, there is a serious lack of after pics since I dont have a garage most of the time! That is soon about to change hopefully...
Here are the before shots that depict how the whole car arrived...
Wheels which required two rounds of megs wheel brightener to clean up. Diablo wheel gel wasnt touching the embedded stuff at all! A EZ Detail brush was used for agitation and scrubbing.
Moving onto the paint, SIP with PFW @1500 took care of this situation:
Where's Waldo...lol
Here are the 50/50 shot I could get. I knew I wouldnt finish with any light left, so I worked the hood lsp ready before moving onto the rest of the car so I could get some good sun shots of the correction achieved.
And a good before and after right here:
Afters of the hood:
here is a shot of WHEN I finished the car: pitch black out and lots of moisture in the air
Anyway, process was the following:
wheels:
wheel brightener x2
CGWG wash
clay with clay magic red with ONR lube
Wash again
dry
SIP/PFW@1500
203/orange/PCXP
FPII/white/PCXP
BFWD
CG xtreme wet tire dressing
megs glass cleaner
