If you ARE using a PC, then Menzerna IP with a cutting pad, or try an orage pad first. If the orange pad does not remove defects, then you need a cutting pad.
If this IS a "Ceramiclear" type finish you will need a more aggressive polish that breaks down quickly. The only polish the Mercedes Benz uses IS Menzerna, but the polish is P106 or PO85RD. Both designed for rotary use. It has a more expensive abrasive than other polishes, cuts very quickly, then goes into a fine polish on breakdown. It's hard to obtain these types of polishes as no one is selling them directly.
You could start with Megs DACP insead since it's avalible and does a good job. You may have to use a bit more downward force on the PC head to make it cut that type of finish, then ease off the pressure and let the polish break down to a dust. Wipe off and inspect. If you get any haze from doing it it's due to the cutting pad/PC combo. Normally you do not get it with a roatry. Just switch to a polish pad and go over the area again. Once all swirls are out, now it's time to bring up the shine.
Switch to a fresh polish pad, use some Megs #80 and polish away. You could then switch to Menzerna FP or "FPII" on the final polish step to obtain that deep clear look. It will take time as again, Menzerna was designed for rotary, but most PC users have found a way for it to work. Use it sparingly as too much will be hard to remove after the polishing. If that's the problem, mix up some distilled water and alcohol 50/50 in a spray bottle. Spray the effected area and wipe off.
Next is your choice of protection: Sealant or Wax or BOTH.
