Mercedes Benz vs. Flex

What is the official name of the "Flex"? It's amazing how much one can miss out just by staying off these forums for a couple of months.

The car looks FANTASTIC! That is an amazing transformation indeed for any paint, let alone German. Hence again why i want to investigate this Flex.

Now it is going to cost you big bucks coming back :D.

Doc, the car looks great. I think there are a couple things here that were not mentioned that deserve attention. First, you are new to the Flex but you quickly got your game on with great results, second - you finished down LSP ready with an orange pad - that says a lot for Menzerna IP (my favorite polish) and lastly - you did all that fast cause your brother-in-law was in a hurry. Congrats Sir!

Thanks! It is very easy to learn and does not take very long, even on full speed, it is not too difficult. I think that using IP on speed 6 really helped to break it down and get it down to that level, even with the orange pad, but also the fact that it was a very hard clearcoat contributed to this finish. However, even with my UDM on dark cars with soft clearcoat and the orange pad I have been able to get IP to finish LSP ready (as long as it is not under 70 degrees). If I would have had more time, I still would have hit it with 87MC even though IP did not leave a haze or swirls, but simply for extra gloss.
