Mercedes-Benz E320 Interior Detail (Warning: Lots of pictures!!!)

Krazy for Klasse!
With the warm weather today I was able to finally clean out the inside of one of my cars. As you can see, this winter has wreaked havoc on the interior carpeting. The use of salt and sand on the roads has stained the floor mats with the all-too-familiar chalkiness known to those of us who live in the "salt belt".

To help clean the interior, I used the Oxi-clean method. It worked really well, and breathed new life into some otherwise very old floor mats. With nearly 60,000 miles on the odometer, I am thinking of replacing the front two mats this upcoming spring. They have served their purpose well, and I am thinking of replacing them to help "spruce up" the interior.

On the dash and seats I used Pinnacle Leather and Vinyl Cleaner followed with Z-10. For the final touch, I sprayed some Griot's Garage Leather Scent throughout the cabin of the car.

Looking good! IT sure is a nice break in the weather in Philly today aint it!!!

I wish I was home so I could spend the day on the vehicles but I'm stuck in work. I did get a chance to take a long lunch and walk around the city, it's so nice out!! Don't get used to it, 30degrees in the forecast by the end of the week....HATE WINTER!!

VERY nice.

How did you like Z10 on the vinyl as well?

Z10 performs very well on vinyl. The shine is just about right and absorbs very easily into the vinyl surface. I can't say enough just how much I love it! My friends and family always comment how my cars smell like new everytime they get into them. It is a top-notch product that is well worth the price!

Looks great.

About your mats. New ones for summer use only. For winter use get a set of the winter rubber mats that hold the water in. Save the old mats for under the rubber winter ones.

I've done this for years and the summer mats always look "new" when you stick'em back in in the spring.

Later,
JU
