Mercedes 500E.....Very Pic Heavy!!!

Love this car... and the fact that its been built by Mercedes and Porsche, well thats like not having to choose between a blonde and brunette because you have a girlfriend who's a blondette :money: Winning.

The work is incredible Nick!!!, but so is the wit in which the "J" replied..........J-isms I see "Higher learning" is taking hold.............(Had to do it Dave)

Your before and after Taking picture are amazing. Truly nice work. I would have thought they were two different cars.

Beautiful work!! That car takes me back. I had a 1992 320E Sportline when MB only made one sportline for each dealer. The car was a dream. Identical paint and looks as this one. I had it wet-sanded at the dealer the first week I had it and was a freaking mirror from then on. You did a great job!

Nick, That my friend is true detailing, what a wicked turn around, hey, question, I use a Makita 9227c what type of pads do you recommend? I have tons of LC CCS Smart Pads, Hydro Pads (they blow) as for durability, Purple wool foam pads, Surbuf.....But kinda unhappy about the way they all perform, I know there has to be some better pads for Rotarys out there

Beautiful technique and work, Nick !!!!
That was a unbelievable turn around!
Im guessing owner had it painted but not finish compounded, etc., right ?

Glad he picked you to finish the project - it is absolutely gorgeous !
Thanks for the hard work and for sharing the pics !

WOW Nick,
You did an amazing job on that MB. There was a bit of everything there (swirls, RIDS, scratches, water spots and major orange peel), and you kicked it's but BIG TIME!!!!
Your before and afters really tell a story.
Great work.:notworthy:

Wow, what a true correction from the kitchen sink to the house fallen on one. Amazing turnaround on the beast!

Great work Nick. I detailed one of these (on live video stream) about two years ago. Super cool cars, but the work you did on this is AMAZING! Hope all is well!

That is odd. I use 5.5 pads on my makita and the result is just down right amazing. I have used so far LC pads and its what has worked best for me. Its just wierd how you say that you are unhappy about the way they preform.

Thanks for ALL the compliments! I was surprised to see 3 pages when I logged on!!!! Thanks guys!!

Sorry guys, been super busy the past few days. Working on another couple of projects right now.

I'm not sure why you're having issues with the pads. Before MF, I used all the same pads you're having problems with now. So I'm not sure what to recommend, but it could be the paint you're working on also(if you're just working on your own car). Makes you mad enough to just pull your hair out! ~X(

Stunning documentation and revival. A great and timeless car being brought back to life is something all car enthusiasts enjoy looking at, and I hope the owner is as excited and grateful for your work as I know I would have been if that was my ride. Great job!
