When I recently polished/waxed my car for the first time using a DA I experienced something similar. I too was using the DD Uber Black/Gray pad but with Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax. The wax seemed to really soak into the pad, and after I was done there was a LOT of wax built up inside of the pad. If I squeezed the pad large gobs of wax would come out. I can only assume I was doing something wrong, or maybe this pad/wax combo doesn't work...
