Menzerna Pro vs. Menzerna Consumer

I was wondering if someone could give me a rundown on which products from the menzerna professional line are the same as the menzerna consumer line, as they have different numbers and different names.

For example, does the IP from consumer line = the IP in professional line? or does the IP in consumer = the SIP in professional line?

I am about to order the menzerna and was going to order the consumer line, but the larger quantity and price makes the menzerna pro a better bang for your buck.

The products i was going to buy were:

Intensive Polish

Final Polish II

FMJ

so, if you could give me the equivelancies of these in the professional line that would be awesome!

here are the products im probably going to purchase from the professional line.

Intensive Polish PO91E

Final Polish PO85U

Micro Polish PO87MC

I found out from AG website that the micro polish is equal to the Final Polish II, so my question is should i bother with the PO85U? I was thinking that the PO85U will give me a little less abrasive product than the intensive polish since i will be using it on a 2007 and 2008 vehicle. Also, I didnt find a professional product for the FMJ so is it worth ordering this? or should I just stick with zaino after doing the micro polish...

I enjoy the FMJ because of it's easy on easy off. It's durability is somewhat the pits, and the price is kinda high, so when I run out, I'll have to do some research to find out if I like it enough to justify the price or get my hands on something else. I really like Klasse Sealant Glaze, but the amount of work it takes to get it off makes it a downer, but I LOVE the results.

As I understand it, there is no "consumer" or "professional" line from Menzerna, it's all one line. Menzerna USA has chosen to package differently and name certain products differently for the US market. Maybe that's what you meant, but there is no consumer/professional distinction as there is with, say, Meguiars (which doesn't really overlap any products either).

This is very true! If you are a pro, then get the pro bigger bottles. If you are just a personal user, then just buy the smaller consumer bottles.

If you are smart, buy the bigger bottles and sell some samples to pay for it. A 32 oz. bottle should do an average of 70 cars.

This gets confusing pretty quickly here for us in the US. There have been several discussions about what we get here and whether or not it's the "real" German Menzerna. Here's a link to the Menzerna web site that has the product descriptions.

Recently there was a thread explaining that PO83 that we get here is Super Intensive Polish--i.e. PO85RD 3.02, which is the "upgrade" to PO85RD 3.01. Also, 106FA is the newer version of 106FF.

Others will chime in, but here's the 3 I'd recommend, though if you can only get two, I'd suggest the 3.02 and 106FF/FA

Elite Car Care Menzerna

It really can get confusing!

I appologize for the lack of knowledge here... i have always used the meguiars mirror glaze products, specifically #'s 83(DA cleaner/polish), 2(fine cut cleaner), 9 (swirl remover), and depending on paste or liquid, #26 or #16. I think regardless im going to buy the larger bottles... you spend $16 for the 16 oz and $26 for the 32 oz. bottles, so to me its worth getting the larger bottles either way. I am going to be ordering the regular intensive polish (po91e) (ill try this, if i need more cut, which i dont think i will, then ill buy the SIP), but do I need both the Final Polish (PO85U) and Micro Polish (PO87MC)? Reading about them it seems the micro finishes off better.
