Menzerna PO106FF "Samples" "Group Purchase"

Okay, 12 oz. to go. So one 8 oz. and one 4 oz. sample and that's it. I'm logging off for the night so the earliest post on either of the forums gets the last two samples.
 
Okay, that puts us at 16 bottles. We can do one more 4 oz. unless J.J. wants to upsize to an 8 oz. Which ever calls it first gets the last 4 oz. (J.J. changing to 8 oz. or new order for 4 oz.). Then after that were are done!



That was pretty quick! I am going to crunch some numbers for shipping to get a final cost for everyone out the door. What I'll do is post the final cost and what I would like for everyone to do is PM me your shipping address ASAP. This will help me gauge what shipping charges will be. I'll probably charge 3 different shipping rates. I am in North Carolina so there will be one fee for the south east region, one for the rest of the eastern part of the US and one for the west coasters.



I am going to look into the best packing solution for the bottles. I want to keep this as low cost as possible. So far the best solution I've found is gong to be about a quarter per bottle.







I'm open to suggestions if someone can direct me to something cheaper.

'I am of the opinion that Dan who has facilitated this opportunity and has done all the leg work etc should get his 8 ounces free. I am in favor or splitting the cost minus his 8 ounces amoung us. Anyone else in favor of this please respond. I do want to make clear that this is my suggestion only and Dan had nothing to do with it.'
 
Here is my first stab at final pricing... I want to make sure everyone is aware where all the cost is coming from so take some time to look through my list. As it stands, if I use Priority Mail, we get a flat rate of $4.60 for anywhere in the US. That saves the west coast guys a ton, and only cost the guys that are close to me literally pennies more than the lowest cost shipping which is parcel post. Anyway, I am open to suggestions but this is the two final pricing unless we decide to change something.



8 oz. will be $17.41

4 oz. will be $11.22



Let me know if you catch any errors that I may have missed.

I don't know anything about PayPal, but it looks like you've got 29% fee in there, not 2.9%.



Edit: I also presume you're not really going to buy 32 4 oz. bottles but just half-fill 8 oz. ones for the two members who "ordered" the 4 oz., otherwise you're going to wind up eating the cost of the 4 oz. bottles because you don't really have that covered the way you "priced" it up.

I thought the same thing at first. I think he has the shipping price in that amount too.

Dan, I think you are shorting yourself on the 4 oz size, I come up with $11.87. Also, if you include the 10% Autopia discount at AG, it's $1.19/oz. for the product, .71 for the box, 4.60 shipping, .71 for the bottle. So 4 oz. is $4.76 + .71 +.71 + 4.60 = 10.78 + .30 + 11.08 x 1.029 = $11.40.



8 oz. x 1.19 = $9.52 + .71 + .71 + 4.60 = $15.54 + .3 = 15.84 x 1.029 = $16.30



Heck, at those prices, I might have gotten in on this! (S'ok, I have a bottle of the Blackfire stuff I haven't even used yet)
 
Okay guys, let's hold off on payment until I can get a more accurate rate on shipping. I may be off by a little. I want to get one packaged today and get it weighed.
 
You can get free Priority Mail Boxes from the USPS store in 7-10 days. Could help cut some of your cost.



Any other payment options besides PayPal?

Alright guys, to make it simple here's what we have.



-Bottles will be $0.75 for both 8 oz. and 4 oz. (cheaper that way) (I have to buy 3 packs of 6 from HF so I'm splitting up the entire cost across 17 people).



-Boxes, same story as above. Min order is 25 boxes from Uline so I am splitting that entire cost across 17 of us too. $0.75 per box. (Note: the free USPS box will make us weigh in over the 1 lb limit to get the $4.60 flat rate for shipping. In the long run we will end up paying more that route.)



-The PO106FF comes in at $1.19 per oz. with the autopia 10% discount at Autogeek. so $4.75 and $9.50 for 4 and 8 oz.



-Then we will hopefully get the $4.60 flat shipping rate by using this small, light box from Uline and minimal packaging.



I want to make sure that this comes in under 1 pound so don't send money until I can weigh this. But I think we will be under 1 pound. I'll keep everyone posted. I'm heading out to HF right now to buy bottles.



If we can all use PayPal that would really help me... you know it just makes it much simpler. So I'm going to say PayPal only please.

I know the larger flat rate boxes from USPS are the same price no mater what the weight. I've sent them out packed full of magazines already for the flat rate price.



Edit: I went to USPS website. I follow now. The $4.60 is not really a flat rate but more of a base rate. Just keep what your doing and ignore me... lol
