Menzerna PO106FF "Samples" "Group Purchase"

DetailingGurus.com
I've been noticing that there is a lot of posters both on this forum and other forums looking for samples of PO106FF. With all the hype out there about it I have to say, I would love to try this stuff too! The thing is, your hard pressed to find anyone willing to give away samples of their $50 polish! Never mind trying to find someone sell off their stash (which is a good sign that this stuff is as good as everyone says it is.)

So I thought of this idea (and got approval from the mods prior to posting) that might be a nice service to us "PO106FF lurkers"... all those who want to try a sample of PO106FF before dropping $50 for a 32 oz. bottle. I can facilitate sort of a group buy to get samples out there for all interested.

Here's how this would work. First we need to gauge how many would be interested. Depending on how many want samples and what sample size, I'll buy either a 32 oz. bottle or a 128 oz. container as well as sample bottles (so far the best place I found to get these is at USPlastic.com) and split up the polish. I'll ship it out to everyone and split up the cost evenly amoung everyone.

Let me stress... I am not doing this for profit! I am doing this as a service to the detailing community. I know I personally would like to sample not only PO106FF but other higher end products (SIP, Jetseal, etc.) and just cannot justify having to buy larger quantities just to find out I don't like them or they were not worth the investment to me. Plus, if you are anything like me (and it seems like most are) my detailing supply stash is quickly growing almost out of control.

So here is my first stab at what the cost(s) would be:

If we only got enough interest to warrant a 32 oz. bottle purchase we are looking at $8.20 (+shipping to you) for a 4 oz. sample and $14.44 (+shipping to you) for an 8 oz. sample.

If we get enough interest to warrant a 128 oz. PO106FF purchase the prices drop to $6.36 (4 oz.) and $11.80 (8 oz.).

So here we go... who's in? Money would have to be PayPal to me before we order and hopefully we can turn it around quickly. I will quote exact shipping charges to the sample bottle to your address and probably just use USPS which should only cost a couple bucks for something that small. I'll keep editing this post to update the "in list".

Count me in. I detail pretty much for myself only and have an 06 e350. would love to have enough 106 to do my car a couple times for year and the 4 or 8 oz sample would be perfect. I would be okay with either 4 or 8 ounces. I thinks its a great idea.........

Great. I updated the prices. I wonder if they have 4 oz. bottles too. getting it locally definitely saves money.

Well we already have enough for a 32 oz-er... let's give it a few days and see if we can get enough for the 128 oz. to bring the price down.

Got it.

We are up to 60 oz. accounted for. 68 oz. to go if we want to shoot for the 128 oz. order. I think we will get it so let's say we'll go until we fill the 128 oz.

Thanks.

Oh heck, I'm in for 8oz.

I have more polishes then I will ever need but I can't pass up such a good deal to try it out. Thanks for putting this all together and doing the work. I expect everyone will throw in a tip for your effort. :D

It's my pleasure... I'm just as excited as everyone else to try this stuff out!

[List updated]

82 oz. accounted for...

46 to go.

I'm in for 8oz! If we fall one person short I'll sign up for another 8oz. As is I don't want to prevent someone else from getting a sample.

I probably shouldn't, but I've been really interested in trying the Menzerna line. I'm in for 8oz.

Thanks for putting this together

Anybody know how many ounces of the 106FF it takes to do any average size car?? Not trying to hijack the thread, just wondering how many times I can do my cars on 8 ounces. Sounds like I can get 4 - 5 polishings........perfect.

Okay, looks like we are up to 108 oz. accounted for. That leaves 20 oz. more to go. Filling up quick so hop on if you want some. We'll probably fill up by sometime tomorrow. I will post again tomorrow with more logistics. I'm turning in for the night today though.
