Wow, just wow.

A mess is an understatement for this puppy. I think the year is around 1996 and if it was never detailed, it wouldn't surprise me. It had everything from heavy etching to oxidation to staining to SWIRLING and everything in between. This vehicle was a test panel for some fun. Its one you walk up to and are like "Damn, it's gonna be tough, but it can only get better!". Anyways, I'll go in order here with the exterior last (be patient).

First up, the interior. Grease, dirt, dust, foreign substances, drinks, trash, you name it. Only 1 B&A because the sun was far too bright in the morning. You'll get the idea pretty quick though. Processes:

-Carpets, mats, and seats cleaned with Folex and Oxy/APC Mix, then extracted

-Everything else was APC'd

-Dressed with 303 Aerospace

Onto the engine. The pics can do the talking here...

-Rinsed, then degreased with Briggs and Stratton Degreaser and scrubbed with a car wash solution

-Rinsed and dryed (ran engine for 10 mins)

-Opt Dressing

-Opt Car Wax on painted surfaces

Enjoy!

Great work Sean, in that condition PG was the only way out.

how did u use the Optimum dresser, diluted???

And what rpm do u use in the fenders???

Akele abraço

Thanks :).

RRacer: I used it straight up, but next time I would've gone 50/50.

I stayed at the noted RPM the whole time just used a lighter touch in some areas.

hirosh: A touch over 6 hours.

I have a love/hate relationship with cars like that. I hate them when I first see them and realize what a grind it will be but I love how they (usually!) turn out.

Outstanding job, Sean. The color of the paint looks completely different without all the swirls, scratches and haze blocking the view!
