Wow, just wow.

A mess is an understatement for this puppy. I think the year is around 1996 and if it was never detailed, it wouldn't surprise me. It had everything from heavy etching to oxidation to staining to SWIRLING and everything in between. This vehicle was a test panel for some fun. Its one you walk up to and are like "Damn, it's gonna be tough, but it can only get better!". Anyways, I'll go in order here with the exterior last (be patient).

First up, the interior. Grease, dirt, dust, foreign substances, drinks, trash, you name it. Only 1 B&A because the sun was far too bright in the morning. You'll get the idea pretty quick though. Processes:

-Carpets, mats, and seats cleaned with Folex and Oxy/APC Mix, then extracted
-Everything else was APC'd
-Dressed with 303 Aerospace

Onto the engine. The pics can do the talking here...

-Rinsed, then degreased with Briggs and Stratton Degreaser and scrubbed with a car wash solution
-Rinsed and dryed (ran engine for 10 mins)
-Opt Dressing
-Opt Car Wax on painted surfaces

Enjoy!

I hope you got a tetanus shot before you started -the before pics are damn nasty!

How long did that take you Sean?

It's no surprise to me that you uncovered a nice looking car with your rotary skills. No one will ever know that car has lived a hard life.

Unbelievable transformation...Looks great Sean!

I had a similar fight with a 1996 Passat that was also never touched. Black, of course.....I did IP x2 with Orange Pad, then FP x2 with White Pad and though it looks much better, there are still a bunch of spots I just gave up on. It was a friends car and I was helping him out...but it just got to be too much. I figured I'd hit it again after I get some PG and a wool pad. Please send the Force my way in about a week or so, OK??? :sorcerer:

After seeing what you were able to get, I really wish I had PG and Wool with me.
