Menzerna packaging question

I've seen Menzerna products packaged with two different kinds of labels. There's the plain label with the product name. Then there's the colorful label with a front half of a car on it.

Did Menzerna produce different packaging for commercial vs. retail use?

Very observant grasshopper. That's because there is Menzerna USA and Menzerna of Germany. The fancy bottles with the bright colors are from Menzerna USA. The more plain packaging that reads "Professional Line" are from Germany. That's why it cost me $135 to have SIP from Germany shipped to me here in Massachusetts. Menzerna USA is in Nanuet New York. Menzerna of Germany is in Otigheim Germany.

I've seen the both packaging online so I was wondering if there was a difference. Are the formulations the same between the US and German products? I sure hope so.

Don't think so. From what I've heard, and please do correct me if I'm wrong, CMA imports the "real" Menz from Germany, adds some oils and gives them a name. This is because Menz is really made for cars off the production line, so the composition dries very quick. CMA adds the oils to give it some lubricity and longer working times. Also, what I've been told, Menz products with numbers (106FF, 85R, etc) are the actual professional line from Germany. The ones with the picture and names (Final Polish II, FMJ, etc) have chemicals added and therefore cannot use the original product name.

I hope I said it right. Someone please correct or delete this post if I'm wrong. That's just what i've heard and would love to know the whole story. :idea
