Menzerna on clearcoated car, not quite as happy.

I reviewed Menzerna earlier on a nonclearcoated car and was very happy compared to SMR, but I used it on a black BMW that was clearcoated and really not that impressed with it. Maybe the Intensive didn't have enough bite to tackle these swirls/imperfections, but it didn't take care of the problems with the clearcoated car that it took care of on a nonclearcoated car. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Well, what a coincidence. I just tried the Menzerna tonight on my black BMW and now I'm on here to see what I was doing wrong. The Intensive didnt really seem to remove swirls that great, but I'm a newby and just bought a Makita 9227C, so maybe I didnt do it right? But I did it according to all the instructions I've seen, so :nixweiss

The Final Polish got rid of the swirls, but I think it only filled/covered them?

I told other times here that the IP is a light polish. I use their Fast Cut when I want to remove something.

The IP is less abrasive than the DACP.

I did a review when the product was first released by CMA and also had a disappointing experience.

Not good. If memory serves me correct, I think it's even less aggressive than GEPC.

Now, I just keep it as my first line of defense to remove small road tar pick ups...

I've used it with great results on my Volvo, as a part of a process, though.

Fast Cut - remove imperfections, scratches and swirls

Intensive Polish - prepare the surface providing an almost ready result

Final Polish - a like glass finish.

This way, and not by itself, it's (are) great.

I guess it's 'Intensive Polish', and as it says, 'Polish', not clean or cut. It's great to follow a cleaner, though, like Fast Cut or Megs Fine Cut.
