Menzerna on Black with lite swirls ?

Just picked up a new 2008 Chrysler Aspen hemi that is Black with the Brilliant Black paint with flakes. I have Menzerna 106FF, PC 7424 with LC White pads and wanted to find out this.

Will the Menzerna 106FF with White pad to remove swirls? or should I also get Orange pad or step up to SIP? I have been doing some looking around here and see that others are using some different Menzerna stuff to remove swirls. My plan is once swirls are removed to hit the vehicle with DWGx2 and then maybe top with S100.

Would love to do this now but, typical Michigan weather it is snowing like H*ll right now and we are suppose to get 6-10 inches of snow by tomorrow :hairpull Please send warm weather soon.

If you'd like to purchase some warm weather, I've just put some up on the site, at a 10% discount until spring! Just go to www.goodweatherforcheap.com !

Get that Jeep in the garage, get a bit of it cleaned off, and try out your combo to see if it works! How bad are the swirls? If it's the typical DISO (Dealer-Installed Swirl Option) they are probably pretty bad and you will probably need the SIP/orange first, but if you don't have that, certainly give the 106FF/white a try first.

As always, start with the least agressive polish/pad first, then work up if needed.

If you find the polish/pad is just not removing these, then yes, step up to a moderate cutting foam pad (orange) and try the 106FF first, then if it's still not getting resolved, they (swirls) are deeper than 106FF can handle, so go up to SIP. Power Gloss also works well with these pads.

Take your time, do a section and inspect before going forward with heavier pads/polish.

I am wondering the same thing. Please keep us posted on how it works. I have the 106FF with white pads (SIP and orange pads on the way). I want to wait till the SIP gets here just in case I need it.

I would love to know how this turns out. I have the same polish pad combo.

Funny stuff! I just did a car yesterday. But warm weather is CHEAP in AZ. Good Luck!

biolink - I will let you know how this turns out once it warms up. 20 degrees and snowing hard here. Don't think I will get to this until mid march, but want to make sure I have everything ready to go.

In that case, I will most likely get back to you first. I am waiting for my SIP to arrive, (just in case I need it). Soon it may be too hot here, LOL.
