Menzerna / Klasse recommendations

Okay - as usual, I'm thoroughly confused. I need to polish and seal both my cars. 1 is a brand new black 2009 S63 with no swirls of any kind. The other is an 06 navy blue Lexus GX470 with minimal swirls and a few very minor paint chips.

I have been reading a lot about Menzerna PO106FA and PO106FF. Which one is better? Looks like PO106FA is a newer version of PO106FF ....... Can I use either one on my S63? I'm really looking for something with the LEAST/MINIMAL amount of cutting power (so that my S63 won't get hazed up for now). Also, does it have to be used with an Orbital buffer or can I do it by hand? Someone told me that all Menzerna products need to be used with an OB. Yes/No?

Sealants: I hear that Klasse is the best. Then I hear that Menzerna FMJ is just as good. I've also heard about CG's JetSeal 109......:argue

Most people would say PO106FA is slightly better. It's a newer version, and it's phasing out FF. If you want minimal cut, Final Polish 2 is better. I don't know why you're concerned about hazing with a finishing polish, though??? Klasse is an option, but in my opinion, it's not the best. For pure sealants, my favorites are Zaino Z2 and Optimum Opti-seal, with Werkstat Acrylic Jett in there somewhere too. There's tons of options with sealants.

Thanks.

Is there a Zaino web site that properly lists it's products? I could only find zainostore.com....

Is "Zaino Z2 and Optimum Opti-seal, with Werkstat Acrylic Jett " one product or 2? Both Zaino?

Are you going to use buffer or not? You really need to determine which way you are going to go (hand/buffer) for the best answers to the questions

Klasse All-in-One is a good sealant. The durability isn't the greatest, but it's easy to use. I use it on all my cars and always top it with Collinite 845 wax.

The S63 just needs a one step either Power finish or xmt 360 works great for swirl freee paint. I would use it with a grey pad and work at speed 4 light pressure. remember your not polishing your letting the product do the work so that it will shine( glow, what ever)

then just seal or wax with what ever you like. They all seem to be the same too me.

LX470 sounds like more work. YOu need to fine the area of the truck were you can test different combo to see whats going to work. I alway like doing the doors for some reason.

Start with the least aggressive first. So maybe SIP and orange pad, if not step up tp Yellow pad, Still there then compound and orange pad, then yellow if still there. Still no luck( you need to get yourself one of these Makita 9227C Polisher.) I think if you take you time work the menzerna power gloss with orange pad it should work.

post some pic's when your done

Good luck
