Mantic6t9 said:Well the situation i'm in is i need something a little more abrasive then the 1Z PP and from what i'm reading it's a pretty robust polish. I'm a little apprehencive about it but if i just used it one time and followed it up with the 1Z PP and all my swirls were gone i would be a happy man.
Accumulator said:Yeah, the 1Z polishes contain oils and SEEM to probably contain some fillers. No, I didn't do the alcohol-spritzer bit to find out for sure, but going over it with AIO didn't make a bunch of marring come back, either. The Metallic Polish actually contains some WAX, so that probably acts as a filler. No, it does NOT cause any bonding issues with anything I've topped it with.
The Paint Polish really does remove marring through mechanical/abrasive action (as does the Metallic, but that stuff is just SO mild..). Any fillers it (the PP) leaves are MINIMAL. I DO NOT see any marring (that might've been covered/filled) coming back. It does NOT seem to be a "3M SMR-type of fillers" situation.
So, you found that the AIO did not uncover any of the scratches/marring that the 1z removed? Thanks, Mark.
