Menzerna Final polish vs Final polish II

jgv,

It sounds like you are saying that FP II is FMJ with abrasives. If this is true than more than polishing oils were added to FP. Are you saying FP II is a sealant?

What I'm trying to make is the equivalence between products here and there. IMO if Menzerna had already such great products like the PO73, PO85U, PO85RD here, why would they make a completly diferent line for the USA? I mean, Menzerna is not a bath tub products company... What I'm sure Menzerna USA did was adding some color to some of the products and re-name them.

I use FPII/FMJ, IMO FPII (Micro Polish) is easier to work with since it has more oils in it.

I would be great to use before zaino since it is a pure polish and contains no fillers.

I have a couple of pics in my gallery w/ the combo.

I am somewhat concerned, that if FPII is just FMJ with abrasives, then I will not be able to as easily use FPII for my Zaino prep. I intend to use both products on different vehicles (FMJ and Zaino).

Absolutley not. FPII is a pure polish, no fillers or protectants what so ever. The added oils are for lubrication purposes only. It contains some of the finest abrasives available. Menzerna doesn't *make* FMJ, just licensed to use their name.

Menzerna polishes are used in many industries, not just automotive which is why they have a limited but HIGH quality product line.

To borrow a line from Deanski, they are used on OEM lines where fillers are prohibited.

I think musical instruments is menzerna's biggest industry.

They don't make a detail spray because they don't make products dedicated to automotive use. They make several polishes and compounds and make them well.
