Menz 203 or 106FA?

As good as 203s is, I cannot be without 106FA.



IMHO 106FA is more versatile. Use it with a heavy cutting pad and you can do some decent correction or as a follow up to compouding it offers more cut than 85rd which is what you need sometimes if you can only do a 2 step correction.



Oh and on clear film... 106FA is the shiz!
 
I havent used 203s, but I would recommend M205, it has more cut than 106ff/fa and finishes very well also. I've also never had problems with any mystery filling such as I've experienced with 106ff/fa, and it doesn't act up in different weather conditions.
 
M205 can micro marr on soft paints and not finish down, do not get me wrong I think 205 is a wonderful polish and I have played with the pads and speed on the soft paints and it still hapens from time to time with Jet Black BMW paints not liking the 205 the most.



I have not had filling issues with FA as I work the polish a pretty long time, and it is an improvement over FF without a doubt.

ive had the same exact experiences with all the JB BMWs i work on including mine.



IP/106FA/PO85RD is my combo for JB BMW and other soft paints.
 
I personally do not like SIP too much anymore with a rotary. With that, 203 plays sorta similar to SIP via rotary. I would rather 1 step with 106 for a better finish and MUCH easier playtime with it than risk the goofiness properties of SIP that have been inhereted(at least in my time with 203) with 203.



For a DA I would say either as they both seem to have pretty long work times. 203 via DA, 106FA via rotary
 
Out of all the Menz products 106FA works outstanding on the DA machines, little extra work time really helps!

I think PO203S is a little more versatile, in the upper end but PO106FA finishes off a little better on darker paints. What I am trying to say is that PO203S finishes off very nice when used with a finishing pad and it will have a nice cut when used with, for exampel with a foamed wool pad.



I am using PO203S and PO106FA all the time along with the new compound from Menzerna - the POS100 Powergloss :getdown
