Melting Paste Wax

Probably not as long as you don't get it hot enough long enough to evaporate some of the carriers. Even then, it would probably just be a little harder to use.
 
:think: Ok, I am a bit confused. Some people keep their can of paste wax on ice (why?) and others want to melt them. Melting them though sounds interesting, especially when they are rock hard like P21s100%. However, doing that might seriously affect durability. What is the best way to do that and once melted, how do you store it?

What is a Double Boiler?



I use a dollor store metal mixing bowl that rest in a pan with about An inch of water simmering in it



I forget who's idea it was (maybe Scottwax?)

but a 50/50 mix of #16 & FK's Pinkwax

makes a very nice wax
