i was going to order some stuff online non-megiure...but i dont have time now and need this beast lookin nice real early :) ....i'm going to stick to meguires....what should i use for polish, wax and is megs quik detailer any good? i will probably get clay magic clay bar. the places around here carry most of the professional class products so i am accessable to those. my car has a few minor scratches here and there, nothing extravigant its in very good shape.

Are you planning to buy at your local automotive stores? You probably won't find much other than the consumer line, but if you should be able to find:



The Deep Crytal 3 step system and the Gold Class Wax are decent, but I'd get these:



Scratch X: scratch removal

Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover 2.0: for polishing and swirl removal

NXT Tech Wax: Synthetic sealant one step wax

NXT booster spray wax: complement to the wax



Or go carnauba with #26 wax (a carnauba blend), and the Quick Detailer.
 
If I were gonna do a car with Meguiar's stuff, I'd use #80 topped with #16. Note that this is a combo many pros use...it's quick and easy, and it works great.
