Meguires Quick Wax

Does anyone have experience w/ this product? It says to spray it on a wet or dry vehicle. Does it matter? How good a wax is it anyway? It also warns against spraying it on windows, whereas many on this forum recommend waxing windows--or is that just AIO?

Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks

Never tried it, but I know it has carnauba in it, which would be the reason to keep it off windows. Most carnauba wax has a tough time coming off windows without streaking everywhere. When someone mentions waxing windows, they typically mean with a synthetic polymer sealant. Spraying on a wet car will probably bring down the durability as opposed to a dry car a bit, but it's not a big deal. I believe it has to haze over, so it's really not much quicker than a regular wax to use. If you are already using a sealant on your car, i think you should get FX Spray Wax instead--easier and quicker to use, good protection, great looks, and it's a polymer so it can be used on windows.

I dont use wax on my glass, but synthetics, and i will never have a windshield without any on it.

I must admit I don't use it anymore now I've got OCW. It looked good for a couple of days, but then it seemed to fade very quickly.

I used to use it as a QD. It worked pretty well, but on a warm surface, it seemed to streak, where a QD spray would not.

Actually diluted WAUD (Wax-as-U-Dry) works better as a QD.

The one nice thing about Meg's Quik Wax, is that it makes the paint very SLICK.

But doesn't last but a few days.
