Meguires #9 Questions

I used the #9 SMG on a test area last night by hand and was very impressed with results.



I am a Zaino-head, so I am wondering this. Does the #9 remove the scratches or fill them in. If it fills them in, will the impressive results disappear when I Dawn wash and reapply my Zaino??
 
IMO I have found they just hide them, but I also do not have an orbital. By the way, I just recieved my Zaino last night, I am a first time user, I am so pumped for this weekend!:D
 
#9 has fillers but it primarily removes swirls when used with an orbital. You need some patience if you use this product by hand (lots of rubbing). If you use AIO after #9 (which would remove the fillers), you shouldn't see any swirls reappear. AIO takes care of very minor scratches too so it's worth a shot. Lately people have been suggesting using a cleaner afterwards because their dawn hasn't been getting off the oils :nixweiss



After #9 do a heavy dawn wash to the area and see how it turns out. Then you can determine if you need to reapply, go to something stronger, etc...
 
#9 is by far the best swirl remover I have ever used. Follow up with #26 and you will get great results, especially if your car is black.
