Meguirars MF finishing disc

I was at Walmart and picked up the MF finishing disc DMF5. Is this similar to Optimums MF pad ? I wanted to get the OPT one then saw this.

Yeah they are very similar. Just my .02 the Meguiars' cut a little harder because they are a bit thinner, but the optimum are fantastic also, very durable. Optimum is what I mostly use.

Only select locations from what I understand; somewhere on MOL they posted a list of which stores were included but I can't seem to find it now. The stores that have these are supposedly carrying the 5" MF pads, 7" SoftBuff 2.0 pads, W67DA/W68DA backing plates, M105/M205, D300/D301, the G110v2, and some miscellaneous vinyl kits from the Wraptivo line.

The finishing ones have softer microfiber than the Optimum pads. Works very well with D301 Finishing Wax but not that well with other finishing polishes or glazes...at least not for me. Should be well suited for really soft clears.

back to Walmart and picked up MF cutting discs DMC5. Are these comparable to OPT's MF ?

Same thing I found I tried UP on the DMF5 on a black 2010 C6 so I would not have to switch backing plates and run black pad and it just didn't finish like I wanted, works great with the D301 when I use it.
