Meguiars

Anyone here a fan of Meguiars? I hear a lot about Optimum and it's ease of use. I figure stock up on them all. I just got a product from a company called Transmate. It is called Buff N Wipe. Light cutting, doesent dry up when using. Similar to Meguiars 66. So many of the products I have used in the past you never had to worry about dry buff. One run with Megs 80 and I made a mess of my hood. Not used to that whole diminishing abrasives thing. Needless to say, their waxes are top notch and I have to get used to that 80 series. Considering some Optimum though

meguiars makes some good products, but like anything else... you need to find what suits your desires & needs. some like what others don't...

I havent gotten to use it much yet. I dont want to use my customers cars as a trial basis. But most only want that one step polish(#66). They arent overly concerned with swirl removal etc. I have been so busy havent had time to do my own recently.

I didnt let it break down all the way. I mostly used 3m and some of our local shops one step polishes.

The 80 needs to be worked longer which I found out after marring my hood. I also used the rotary at about 1000 rpm's which one of the locals told me and should have hit at 1500 or so.

Meg's 21 is a good sealant people question its durabilty because after a week or so it starts to sheet instead of bead which is better anyway. there is a picture in in here of a guy spraying water on the hood another pic at 15 secs and most water is sheeted off.

4 months durability how long it skeeps its look after 2 coats at leat a month or so.
