Meguiar's wheel brush needs a good home

I have a new Meguiar's Versa-Angle wheel brush that I will give to the first DC supporting member that wants it. I've used it on two wheels, and I much prefer my cheapo Walmart brush. The Megs brush looks awesome but for me it's too heavy, cumbersome, and the bristles are so thick that they won't reach deep into the wheel. You can see the brush here:http://www.autogeek.net/x1030.html

In keeping with the giving nature on Detail City the first DC supporting member that wants it can have it, and I'll even pay shipping.

97F1504x4 you were the first supporting member to reply so it's yours Richard. PM me your info and I'll send it out tomorrow. I see what you're saying about the wheel brush but I'm giving up on it and sticking with what I have.

I used it on both. Twice. Hated it. Then you reminded me that it's a body brush not a wheel brush. Still hated it. LOL, glad it's found a new home and I hope it works better for you:howdy .

I am actually not sure what it was intended for. I know it is NOT a body brush as those are white in color. I also have the interior brush and the bristles in it are a lot harder than the bristle in this brush so i cannot imagine how they expect this brush to be used on Tires it is way to soft in my opinion. It is denser than the Wheel Brush I have from them yet it is soft like the wheel brush. I wonder if it is just a firmer version of the wheel brush i have. I know that is what i plan on using it for. I most likely will not even use the handle portion as i have a short handle i like and i also remove my current brush from it's handle sometimes. Anyway Thanks again for the brush.

I think the denseness is what I didn't like about it. Even though it's really soft, it can't get deep into the wheel because it's so dense. That also makes it heavy so my arm got tired very quick while using it. My cheapo Wal Mart brush is so much lighter, not as dense, and worked much better as far as I'm concerned. Let us know what your impression is once you try it out.

I think they have two wheel brushes. One for tires and one they call the wheel face brush. I could be mistaken about that, but I think I remember being confused about it for a second when I saw them at the store.

I think you are in fact correct.

Pogo next time you feel like trying a new wheel brush try this one i am sure you will like this one from Meg's
http://www.autogeek.net/wheel-angle-brush.html

I have the one i posted and although they have the same name essenctially the bristles on it are no where near what the ones on the brush you sent me. They are spread apart and very loose.

I will try and get a picture of the two side by side later today.and post them.

Richard
