Meguiars W64 Backing Plate Flexible?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a rotary tomorrow. I want to get the Megs W64 Backing Plate with my order from Amazon. I am wondering if the W64 is flexible. I can't tell from the picture the red piece is a piece of hard plastic or flexible rubber. Surprisingly I can't find the answer here or at megsonline. Any additional into you can provide about this W64 backing plate is much appreciated.

no, that is hard plastic and not flexible. lake country also has both rotary & D/A backing plates as well...
 
I have the W66, W64, and the flexible one from Patrick at Excel. I would rate them:



1. W66

2. Excel

3. W64



The W64 would probably be 10th if I had 10 plates. It's very hard and the velcro doesn't last very well at all.
