Meguiars vs Lake Country Pads..

I may be able to get Meg's pads OTC. I like LC pads, but figured in case I ever got in a bind, i'd like to know how well Meg's pads perform. I know LC has 4 major colors that their pads come in... cutting yellow, light cutting orange, polishing white, finishing grey. Meg's apparently only has 3 colors... cutting burgundy, polishing yellow, and a finishing pad (forget the color).



Can someone tell me how the aggressiveness of each Meg's pad would compare to the LC pads?
 
Meg's Burgundy pad is on par with the Yellow LC pad, but can cut more since it's more durable and can handle more pressure on speed 6 :)



The Polishing pad is wonderful, and much nicer than the White LC pad... Won't cut at all, though!



Finishing pad is OK, no real uses except for applying sealants/wax and glaze. One spot where a black LC pad is better :sign
 
the velcro on the LC pads is better crafted, or should I say glue on....my megs pads all came apart...maybe because I sent them through the washer, but so have my LC pads and those are just fine....
