Meguiars Pads... Which?

I have been looking at Meguiars pads and have an idea of what I should be using but wanted feedback from you guys. I was thinking...

MPPC - yellow (W8006)

#9 - yellow (W8006)

S100 SEC - yellow (W8006)

5) S100 wax - beige (W9006)

I am also curious what speed with a PC I should be using. I know for the #9 it should be slower and for the others it should be higher but am not sure what numbers. Can someone shed some light on this as well?

Not sure you'll need the No. 9 if you execute the whole process. But, the pad choice depends on surface you are trying to correct.

W7000 (Maroon) Cutting Pad is good. Based on experience, I usually take out the W7000 / DACP and then Move right to the W8000 SWP and S100 with a applicator (but I am considering giving it a whirl with the W9000.

Speed wise,

5.5 for all polishing (6 if the paint is in pretty serious condition). The jump from 5.5 to 6 although not much in RPM really get's the machine vibrating.

2.5-3 for waxing. (That's still 50 orbits per second - much higher than you would be able to do by hand)

Remember, you're only trying to lay down a thin layer of wax and not trying to buff anything out.

Removal always by hand with a high quality MF.

I don't like using MF or cotton bonnets for removal.

I use Maroon with DACP and Yellow for AIO or a glaze.

Always worked for me.

Wax goes on by hand for a paste or with the Grey pad for a liquid.

Speeds are usually 4-5 for abrasives and 2 or 3 for waxes.

I remove everything by hand, the PC just doesnt seem to do it properly.

Dunno why.

I really love using Meg's SFP #82 with the W9000 or W9006 beige finishing pads; it gives an awesome finish!!!:bow (Side note: this is with a rotary, I have not tried this combo on a PC yet)

I'm not familier with meg's pads but which one is w8006, and 9006?

I'll be using PC and wondering which pad I need for SFP?

I wanna order CMA orange pad but i'm planning to get meg's pad from local store.

I use them exactly as Smoker does. I don't use AIO but I use the same pads/process with SEC or the other polishes I am trying out. I basically wasted the $10 or so I spent on the finishing pad. I just apply waxes by hand - I also remove everything by hand.
