Meguiars M21 or Klasse SG or Liquid Glass?

Hey ya'll,

I had a question regarding sealants. Here is the deal. I have a couple vehicles and am a big fan of this combo: Meguiar's #7 + Meguiar's #26. Anyway, a few months ago I purchased a Tahoe Z71. Her paint is in excellent condition and the color is light metallic silver/gold (light pewter). Anyway, these last few months it has been a total PAIN IN THE A$$ to wash and clay her. Specifically, the ROOF!!! The hood, doors and tailgate are a breeze but it's the roof that gives me headaches. I have to literally use a ladder to get up there and do the roof. I have short arms too so my reach is limited. I have to move the ladder around the top of the 'Hoe at least 6 times so I can ensure the top is all cleaned and there is no residue left.

So here is my question. I am thinking that I need something long lasting and durable for the roof of my 'Hoe. I can still follow my regular regimen of Clay/Polish/Carnauba on the hood and doors and tailgate but the ONLY thing I want to do to the roof is wash it and dry it and be done. I am hoping the sealant will be durable enuff to last 2 maybe 3 months?

I am looking for the best longest lasting sealant. I am not too concerned with the "Glossy" factor since NOONE can see the top of my Tahoe unless they are driving a Semi. I just want it to be durable and last. Carnauba just doesn't last long enuff and I would hate to have to climb up there monthly like I have been doing.

I know Liquid Glass and Klasse SG are Acrylic Sealants and Meguiar's M21 is a polymer. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Anyway, sorry for the long post but I look forward to hearing ya'lls opinions!!!!!

If you want it to last 2 or 3 months, I think the consensus is that the Collinite waxes will last that long without breaking a sweat. If you are going to use the SG, you'll want to build up a few layers, but even one full-coverage layer ought to last you 2 months.

EDIT: Sorry if it didn't sound like I read your post. I did, and you stated a preference for 'nuba, so I thought I would throw out the Collinite option. IMO #21 doesn't last very long, but some members find it does. I don't have experience with Liquid Glass, but SG can be very good if you build it up over several days/weeks, you'll want to prep it with something like AIO tho, it won't go over the Meg's polishes due to the oils.

I think if you went with #21 and touched up with Aquawax every third wash or so you would get great durability. Since AW is not hard at all to apply this may be a good option for you.

I would go with M21!! It is my favorite sealant and is a joy to use. The look of it is unbelieveable, you will not be disappointed! Here are some pics of M21 on a Tahoe I did this weekend that color to give you an idea:

That does look good. So how would you say the durability of #21 is compared to say AGHD or something similar? Would #21 be better for a DD vehicle?
