Meguiar's M205 on Amazon

Has anyone got a shipping notification yet?



The two quarts that I ordered still show:



Shipping estimate: April 7, 2009 - April 16, 2009.

Same here. I've used up half my bottle of Swirl X while waiting for the order. Good stuff, BTW. :2thumbs:

M205's price has risen dramatically on Amazon since the beginning of this thread. :nana:
 
Well, I just got an email from Amazon stating that the shipment of M205 has been delayed and won't ship until between 5/27 to 6/30. Good thing I'm not in a hurry to get it or I'd be really frustrated.:wall

Omg ... Todd ordered for me around march 24th.

Considering you've ordered it on march 9th ... damn ... :cry:



Well ... we're waiting about an answer from Chris @ Eshine.

He's suppose to add the new M105 and M205 to his site.

If this not happen ... i'll need to look for a 2nd option ... :sadpace:



I have M105 and SIP.

Maybe i should get 106FA ... kinda expensive =/ (52$can)
 
Well, I already have M105 along with 106FA. I just like to use the same line when polishing.



I'm sure they will ship it out to me at the same time to your friend Todd. The big question is whether you're willing to wait for the savings. I am. I have plenty of other polishes lying around that I can use. At worse, I'll just pick up another bottle of Swirl X. Only $6.97 at Walmart!

I got the same email.



Looks like I will just pickup a quart as my sample bottle is running low. But I elected to wait and still receive the 2 qts from amazon.

Ok, i understand about the "same line" when polishing.

I'm kinda new to all this, but i'm heading toward the same way = same line when polishing.



I can't really wait until june to receive them.

Like i said, i'm new to all this, and i'll need to practice/fine tune my technique.

Plus, i live Canada, so i only have from may to november to detail.

I'll have couple cars to practice on it.

Girlfriend = "forest green" Toyota Corolla 2000

my cars = Flame red SRT4 and black dodge neon 1999

father = GMC sierra 1500 gray/brown



And i want my SRT4 to be ready for our Opening season meeting from our SRT club in Quebec. (may 23th)

So i absolutely need to find a "temporary" replacement for M205.



Like i said in my previous post.

I only have those = M105 / M95 / 2x SIP / PoliSeal

I think i need a "medium" or "light" polish product.

I was looking into 106FA/P085RD/M83/M80 ...



Is swirlX good ? similar to M205 ? i can pu my hand on some at walmart/canadian tire.

Meguiar's #80 Speed Glaze = filling abilities ?

I don't want the product to be filling



any suggestions ?
 
According to Mike Phillips at Meguiar's Online. SwirlX would be the consumer version of M205. If you can't wait, I would suggest trying SwirlX after M105. Just use it the same way you were planning to use M205. I guess you can try 106FA if you frown on consumer products and insist on professional products, but like you mentioned, 106FA is pricey. IMO, you should just get the SwirlX and try it to see if you like it. Just make sure you keep the receipt so you can return it if you don't like it.:buffing:

I'm in no hurry. I just want to try it and see what the hoopla is all about. I still have half a bottle of 106FA which I'm perfectly happy with. Once I run out of 106FA and it still hasn't come yet, then I'll consider it, but I would be perfectly happy to just buy another bottle of 106FA again.:)
