meguiars DACP and SFP?

On what speed do you guys usually set your PC when applying this two products? Also, do I need to wash the car with dawn before applying any sealant for it to properly bond? Thanks.

DACP- yellow pad and speed 6

SFP- white pad and speed 5



You never need to wash the car with dawn, use your regular car wash and then once you get to the sealant part, spray your car with an alcohol/water mixture to remove the oils. In reality, only Zaino needs a perfectly oil free surface to bond to. Klasse doesn't because AIO is underneath it.

I use DACP at 4 and bump it up to 4.5-5 as it breaks down.

50/50 is what I usually do.
