I have used it with okay results on a car that was in good shape. It is a decent over the counter product in my opinion. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.
It seems to be a decent product, but like many of the lower priced waxes, it stains black trim.
Since I have found good products that don't stain, that has become a priority for me.
When shopping, a good indicator, but not foolproof, is if they caution about getting the product on the trim.
Like mentioned, it's good for a car in good shape. If, for example, you have a red single stage paint car, and it looks pink, this will be a little too mild (IMHO).
Edit:Why don't we have a spell check option? The last one we had got banned!
i use it on NEW cars (over 30 days) when i'm not gettin paid (friends and family cars) it seems to be a nice one step (for people who aren't into detailing like most of us are). when people ask "what should i use for maintenance, i will point them in a cleaner/wax direction, esp. when they are only going to work on their cars 2 or 3 times a year and are happy with that.
Yep, the Meguiar's Cleaner Wax is a pretty decent product. I actually thought it held up better than Gold Class............ at least when it came to "looks".
Yeah, don't sell this product short. It won't correct flaws, but it does a great job of controlling swirl buildup.
If you do all the other stuff, the swirl removal and swirl control through proper washing and QD technique, you could use nothing but Meg's Cleaner and still get all the compliments.
