Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax #6

I was hoping to get some insight on Meg's #6.

I been buying Meg's G1016 Smooth Surfaceâ„¢ Clay Kit. They give these lil Meg's #6, I want to use them up, But I dont know anything about it, Is it good as Meg's #26.

I've been Detailing my Work truck this week and I been using 3M rubbing compound and 3M Polish #05928. The main question is can I use this at the end (Meg's #6) or just use #26?



Remember I dont mind using these lil #6 on the truck, Just want some feed back on this cleaner/wax #6



Does it have fillers in it? Should it only be use by hand or can I use my Rotary?

From what I know, I think it works in similar fashion to the clay, where it cleans the paint surface, but does so chemically, rather than mechanically like the clay.



In other words, it's a chemical cleaner that leaves the paint clean in supplementation to what the clay can't remove.
 
It is like most Paint Cleaners...Similar to an AIO without the protection part. I am a little more partial to P21S paintwork cleanser, but Megs works well too.
 
Here's the Meg's description: "Clear/Wax's one-step application cleans, polishes and protects. Apply by hand or machine to remove light oxidation and create a long lasting, high gloss finish."

It does leave protection, but it seems to die off pretty quickly, in my uses of it. (Around a month.) There are some reviews of it in the "Review" section (Click on the "review!" box at the top of the page.).
 
The cleaner/wax you get in the clay kits isn’t #6, it’s the consumer line A12.



#6 is more aggressive than A12. I’ve been told #6 also has higher glaze oil content.



A12 is not formulated for rotary, #6 is.

A12 was Meg’s first consumer product. It’s a good, basic product but don’t expect it to last as long as a premium product. You can definitely use #26 over it.



It has some of their polishing oils. I can’t say whether it has fillers or not.
