Meguiar's APC and APC Plus D103?

What the main difference between Meguiar's APC (green color) and APC Plus D103 (orange color)?

They both have the same pricing.

APC+ foams less, according to MOL. I've only tried APC so far, and it is a fantastic product. When mine's empty, I'm going to purchase APC+, it should be as good as APC but can be use on carpet too since it has much less foam.

Speaking about APC+D103...

I need to get an all purpose cleaner with high strength to clean wheel wells, engines, wheels, and really nasty crud. I am thinking about:

-APC+ D103

-P21s TAW

-Optimum Power Clean

All cost between 12 and 17 dollars from AG but Meg's APC gives a non-pro detailer a lifetime supply. What would you advise?

I use Meg's APC on everything (almost) and it works amazes me how versatile it is. Not only does it NEED to be diluted (saving money), but you can dilute it different strengths for different tasks. Seems like a no brainer.

On the other hand, people seem to prefer spending more money for products than necessary. I've seen posts asking about pine sap removal, and rubbing alcohol is recommended, which is great for that. But someone else suggests a product that costs a lot more, and the poster opts for that. Go figure.

between APC and APC+, i prefer APC more between the two. my next APC purchase will be Optimum Power Clean...

I like Simple Green for a APC too, since it's cheap and strong. I know it can have some ill effects on metal, which is why it's relegated to wheel wells and tires for removing old tire dressings... I'd like to try the Megs too one day.

Well, I am torn between APC+, TAW, and OPC. I really like optimum products, but the cost of a large jug of megs APC+ cannot be beaten. Sadly, I dont detail enough to justify the purchase of a gallon of OPC

the cost was an issue with me too with OPC, but i'm sure it's going to be worth every penny. just go with what satisfies your needs...

I'll admit it, sometimes I buy stuff just to try it out...I'm trying to work on that.

I do own Megs APC and love it. It works great for cleaning wheels, wells, everything in the interior...

If I could find an additive to make it into a gel for wheel applications, I'd be extremely stoked as its weakness is that it doesn't dwell like p21s wheel gel..

I haven't used the APC on paint and if I remember correctly, Optimums APC can be used on paint...might have to give it a try
