Thanks very much NYDetailer :up. I kind of thought a wet vac would be in the mix somewhere. I've got a fresh gallon of APC+ at home just waiting to go to work on the interior of the wife's Taurus. I already used some yesterday to clean the engine (using the recommended 1:4 mixture) and it worked great. I've never seen a 6 y/o engine in a non-garaged DD look so good. I did make one gruesome discovery....apparently a mouse had decided to make the engine compartment its home and paid the ultimate price because of it. Luckily, it didn't chew any wiring. In case you're wondering, APC+ does a good job at cleaning mouse fur and guts as well.

I once had a 14inch snake in my engine compartment... kinda chopped off when it got stuck in between my fans...



out comes a pressure washer...



wish there's a way to keep the engine clean during the rainy season...
