hi,

id like to know if i can use meguiars #7 show car glaze on my rims that are gloss black with polished lip? the rims itself have never been driven on yet and have its own clear coat on it as well. i have klasse SG on the way which ill use to top it off with. but for now, will it be ok to use the #7 show car glaze and seal it with klasse sg?

the glaze will "burn" off really fast, for lack of a better term. sg is good for the rims, but it won't adhere to the glaze. your best bet would be to use aio and the sg, or any kind of paint cleaner and then sg.

I used #7 on my silver clearcoat Ford Ranger rims just last week...had nothin' better to do , so I tried it. I was impressed with the results. Added a little extra pop.

Sealed it with 845 IW........we'll see how it holds up.
