Meguiar Water Magic towel

I just bought the Water Magic towel and pre-soaked in the water for 30 minutes before using. I followed their instructions folding the towel in 1/4 size before wiping off water; however, it did not absorb 100% of the water on the car surface.

Note, I did not slide the towel back and forth to remove the water, I was using "one direction" method, just like using the regular chamois.

Did I make some mistakes while I was using this towel?

I've never had a WW dry to 100% perfect. Thats why I get it to a good look, then mist lightly with QD and finish drying with a regular (I like PB's velvet smooth, but Meg's makes some good ones too) MF.

I thought 1 towel can do the magic

If I do the drying outdoor, of course, it dries fast; however, if I dry it indoors, the towel can only remove 85% of water. I need to do the second round in order to dry the car.

I use this towel along with propel's to dry my car but using QEW. I was able to dry off the whole car with this towel and found it to be a little softer than the propel one. And for the price, it's something you gotta have.

hmmm. wait a minute. did u mean that u presoaked the towel and then continued to dry while the towel was wet? if that was the case then u should know that the towel is meant to be used dry, not like a chamois or absorber.

I pre-soaked the towel because I wanted to remove the dirt that trapped in the towel when it was brand new. I dried the surface while the towel was still mist (note, I already squeezed out all the water from the towel before drying).

or

Should I use the towel completly dry??? This is impossible. Please advice.

needs to be completely dry. i knew something was up when u said the towel didnt completely dry the car. one towel covers my entire car without any streaks.

Do you mean the towel need to be completly dried before using?

If this is the case, what if I want to dry another car? Do I have to wait the towel to be completly dried again in order for me to do the job?

If this is the case, is this towel designed for drying 1 car?
