Meguair's Hot Shine

I would suspect the main difference is in uses per dollar. Aerosols never last as long.

I've used both, but only used the spray on my tires to notice the longevity. Both performed pretty much the same initially. The spray is a bit quicker to apply as less wiping is needed.

I use the aerosal on other people's cars when a high gloss dressing is required. I have not tried the liquid and I typically DESPISE aerosol b/c of overspray. I haven't had any problems so far though. :nixweiss

I would imagine you do more uses out of a bottle of liquid. I can dress about 12-14 tires with the aerosol, used sparingly. I got them for Christmas so....

Nope, they suck equally :).

I find that the aerosol is a lil easier to use, cause the sprayer on the Hot Shine liquid absolutely blows. If you use it by tire swipe, stick with the liquid. If you have the option, dump it for Mother's FX (higloss) or Reflections (matte).

the aerosol can has an adjustable nozzle, that might come into play. i too, got a can for xmas and have used it. i like it. tires are really glossy. durability ?? i do not know, all i know is, i did not wash my car for about 2 weeks and drove in plenty of rain. next time i washed the car the tires were thick and it made my brush black :nixweiss

does that mean the product is still present ?? or is it just the residue ?? i noticed i would have to apply less and less each time, since there was still some left
