Meg's Wheel Brightner not just for wheels?

I find that using WB on wheelwells works wonders. After spraying the wells with a 4:1 dilution, I let it sit for no more than 30 seconds or so and proceed to pressure wash it off. Afterwards, I can rub my finger on the inside of wheelwells and not get any film of dirt on it usually without having to agitate, unlike any other APC I've tried. Super Clean can accomplish this too at times, but definitely not at a 4:1 dilution ratio. It almost has to ful strength for me to get the same results. Anyone else use it on wheelwells also?

Considering the wheel cleaner is acid, I am surprised that people want to put it on paint. I have it but rarely use it because the stuff is so nasty.

I would use caution with WB on wheels, and even more caution when used on things other than it's intended purpose.

Just my $.02

Make certain you are aware of the related health issues when using this product. Diluting it does not reduce the health risks...

WB yes!

If you wear rubber cleaning gloves, is it safe to use a rag dipper in WB on wheels, or is WB something you don't even want to make that much contact with?

I like Wheel Brite - good stuff and I would NOT want to be without it. I dilute it 4:1 and spray after rinsing the wheel with my power washer. As far as health risks go - hey, I've washed my hands in lacquer thinner when I worked at a body shop during my teen years, I've worked in tobaccco fields the next day after we sprayed a sh1t load of chemicals on it. Plus I've been married twice......I don't care and I dont scare. My old man was one tough SOB and I'm blessed with his DNA.

That married part is truly scary!!! :soscared: Given the choice I'd take my chances with the chemicals.
