Hey guys would megs super degreaser be safe for consumer engine detailing? If so how do u guys use it? 10 to 1 ratio or something? Thx

I really like it. Spray on whatever you want to clean, wait about a minute or two, and rinse off. I've used it on front bumper to remove stubborn bugs/splatter and there's no problem at all. I think I've been using 10:1 ratio.

Inexpensive and works great for engine bays, wheels, wheel wells, rocker panels,

and other messy/greasy areas (diluted 4:1). Check out MOL for more info.

Is it safe on paint and chrome? I'm just afraid that it will damage the paint.

It doesnt hurt the paint. I usually dump a little in my wash bucket when washing if I want to strip the wax.

So between Megs APC and Super Degreaser with the same amount of money, super degreaser will be more worth to buy then, right?

well they are meant for different applications. I don't think I would use degreaser for clean a carpet or floor mats, which APC does very well. Degreaser works well for the engine bay and wheel wells, but APC works well for the engine bay and wheels, they are just intended for different purposes. You'll have to decide what exactly you need cleaned and go from there. I recommend getting both of them, they're both very worth it.

They are both dirt cheap as well. On engines, Super degreaser at 4:1 is great...so is APC...like has been noted, i just would reach for APC before SD for interiors. I dont either on paint, but thats just me..i have products better suited for that

So I can use APC in different application than the degreaser, then? I would use for engine bay, wheels, and carpet as well. So APC or APC+ for me?

if the engine is really oily and dirty, degreaser, otherwise, APC. Interior, wheels, carpeting, only APC. Wheel wells and tires, degreaser unless it's not all that bad, then APC. Basically degreaser is stronger so use whichever is needed, it's a judgment call.
