Hey guys -

Here's some pics of my 04 Maxima. I used a PC and an Orange Cutting pad (on +/- 6) to work the Speed Glaze in. I applied the Pinnacle using the PC at +/- 3 with a Grey Finishind pad. I applied 2 coats of Pinnacle waiting about 24 hours between each coat.

Removed the products and buffed it up using microfiber.

This is a pic of my rear wheel well and 1/4 panel. Taken under the carport in the shade after the 1st coat of wax. The reflections are of the house across the street and the flowers in my front yard.

All of the following pics are after 2 coats of wax.

My car is parked under the carport and is 1/2 in the sun and 1/2 in the shade:

In the blazing sun in the laneway:

This combo is my obsession for "this week", who knows :nixweiss what next week will bring ? :lol

(The photos were taken with a Canon G2 set on automatic. I used photoshop to reduce the size only).

Very nice indeed. Great job. I like the look of the Maxima. What did you use on the tires?

With Aloha,

Ranney :)

Thanks to all for the comments !

Ranney - i used "Simoniz Midnight Tire Gel". I apply it with the foam applicator that i got in a box of Megs NXT. It applies it nice and thin and i just rub it in with the foam. I buy the tire gel at Canadian Tire (big auto/hardware store) up here in the Great White North. This is the only place i've ever seen it.

Thanks guys !

My brother came over to my place to wash his Pathfinder yesterday. The first thing he said to me when he got out of his car was:

"What did you do to your car ? It looks like it's made out of glass !"

After that i put him through his paces of detailing his car. He always leaves my place tired with aching muscles after he's finished working on his car. I like to sit back, direct and supervise his work ! (sometimes i pitch in and help :lol )
