Meg's soft buff vs. LC CCS

Are you talking about the Soft Buff 2.0? A lot of people really got soured on the older Soft Buff because you couldn't wash them or the velcro would fall off, and the Meg's backing plate of the day (the old red one) used to melt if you got too carried away. I haven't tried any of the 2.0 pads, but from what I recall the reviews were good of the new pads and backing plates.

these pads...i guess they're the 2.0's? I'm sure autopia store's ganna have this too just trying to figure out which pads I should get for my kit =[ the velcro problem seems to be for the CCS pads too? =[

Yes, it states right in your link that they are the Soft Buff 2.0...I didn't even think they made the original Soft Buff anymore but I just saw them somewhere. As far as the velcro on the CCS pads--all pad mfrs seem to have an occasional velcro issue, but AFAIK all the Lake Country pads have always been washable.

I personally like the LC pads better than the Soft Buff pads. I have used both, but for some reason, I am just more comfortable with them, and seem to get better results with the LC pads as opposed to the Megs pads.

hmm the CCS actually helps then?

Everyone has their own techniques, likes/dislikes, etc. However, I have found that from my personal experiences that the LC pads give me better results than the megs pads. I am sure there are going to be those who beg to differ, but from my experience, I prefer the LC over megs. The only downfall that I have noticed is that the LC velcro backing will peel quicker if washed too many times.

but the option is CCS or megs soft 2.0

because those are the 2 types of pads that sell the least lol.:xyxthumbs

id stick with LC, although i like flat style over ccs.

megs soft buff 2.0 is OK..only thing i really like is the thick bumperguard that the backing plate rests in. the black finishing pad is good for "aggresively applying a glaze" as i like to call it. for cars that need a glaze or lsp in a jiffy. can get under mirrors and in all sorts of crevices since the pad engulfs the backing plate.

in case ur wondering its the foam composition that makes the big difference, not just the ccs holes in the pad. u seem confused by the 'ccs technology'
