Although not mentioned in the link, apparently scratchX is new and improved and now PC friendly..

#86 looks interesting but it was formulated for new paint, not cured paint. I do wonder how the different pads would work on cured paint though.

Do you really think there will be that much of a diff from the perfomance of a polish meant for softer un-cured paint than fully cured paint?

I would think it would have a much lighter if not any cut at all due to the softness of the un-cured paint. It may take longer or more aggressive pad combo on cured paint.

Knowing Megs these are all reformulations of very old formulas. :(

C'mon Lee, that isn't a fair comment. Same thing could be said about Zaino with the new 'pro' versions of Z2 and Z5. ;)

Single polish system, different type of abrasives. Pads change the cut. It doesn't appear at all to be reformulations.

A lot of this year's "new" product announcements from Meguiar's were to the Gold Class accessories, and were packaging changes or minor product changes (removing the satin edging from some of the MF's, etc.), and that NXT wash is now available in 16 oz. bottles in addition to the 64 (yippee, just what we needed a smaller bottle!). Not exactly what I would have classified as new product announcements. Oh well.

A lot of people do like the smaller bottles. Why buy a giant bottle of something when I can try it first.

I can see where you are coming from but it does not make sense most of the time when factoring OTC car shampoos. The 16oz bottle of NXT wash costs $4.99, but a 64oz jug costs ~$7.00 (less than $6 at Wal-Mart).

I'm in on trying the Carpet and wheel products myself. Or at the very least hear some feedback.

Are these products in stores now or next year some time?
