Megs gold class liquid application in the sun?

Megs advertises that their products can be used in direct sunlight, but is this true? I know from rumor that wax shouldnt be applied in direct sunlight, however i really dont have a choice seeing as i have no trees around my house and i get sunlight practically round the clock during the day.

I do not think it is the sunlight that is the issue per se. It is the temperature of the paint surface. On sunny fall days with a light wind, the paint can be cool enough to apply many products.

yeah, he's not talking about the sunlight being the problem, rather the heat that exposure to the sun creates on the vehicles' surface.

In a nutshell, it's best just to keep it out of the sun.

The product label on any Meg's waxes I've ever used always stresses to use in a shaded area.

If you can't get to shade, try to apply in the morning or evening or when it's overcast.

What the issue is you can use and remove there wax in the sun with zero issues. The thing is the car being so hot when you apply the wax none of the protecting agents will actually stick to the clear. So you'll get a half azzed job.

in the spring time...at about 60f in the morning, if i can get up early enough lol the sun will be in the back of the house so that should give me enough time to do the whole front of the car, and then just turn the car around and let the car cool down in the back and then apply the wax i guess.

It can be a pain. When I lived in an apartment, I would have to drive to a shaded area in the complex to put wax on my truck or my wife's car. It wasn't convenient, but it worked for me.
